About me

Teaching style

I focus on building real understanding first (so you can handle any question), then we translate that into exam technique using timed practice and marking schemes.

Expect lots of short questions, diagram drills, and feedback that tells you exactly how to gain marks.

My background

I’m the person behind LC Econ. I build chapter notes, worksheets and exam-style resources designed specifically for the Leaving Cert course.

I have a degree in BSc Economics and Finance and a Masters in Financial Data Science from University College Dublin. I've worked in insurance, data analytics and accounting in the past. I've been giving grinds to leaving cert student in maths, accounting and economics for 5 years. I have also corrected mock exams so I'm familiar with the areas students often struggle with and how they can improve. You can take a look at my background and education on my LinkedIn page, which is linked above.
